Enlisted Auctions is proud to auction cottage homes for the Blitz Build Community Enrichment Project. The high bidder for lot #2 will have their choice of the 8 remaining homes. Lot #2 is floor plan #1 with Gruver Construction being the primary builder. Our community has come together to build 9 unique small homes in just 9 days! These "tricked out" houses have been crafted by local builders, alongside past and current VCTC students, and even community members like you. Not only is this an opportunity to own one of these expertly built homes, but you’ll also be supporting a great cause. Some of these houses will be donated to help with affordable housing initiatives in our local community, and the others will be auctioned off right here. Auction location: 42 Hornet Rd, Fishersville, VA 22939 Preview date: Monday, October 7, from 4:00 - 6:00pm Auction date: Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 4:00pm This auction will be slightly different - so put on your thinking hats and lets get into the details. There are (9) homes/cottages to choose from. These 9 homes feature 4 different floor plans. The first house (or lot) will be sold by bidder's choice. What this means is that the high bidder for lot #1 will get to pick which of the 9 homes they will be buying for their high bid. After lot #1 is sold - lot #2 will be sold and that winning bidder will get to pick from the remaining 8 homes and so on. This bidder's choice style auction will continue UNTIL the cost of the entire build project has been covered by the combined total of the sold homes. Once the cost of the build has been covered by the sold homes - the remaining homes will be DONATED to provide quality housing for those in need in our community! What this means: If you are interested in one of these homes you better make sure you are one of the first couple of winning bidders - because after the build cost is covered the auction is over and the remaining homes will be donated. So, bid, bid, bid! Bid high, bid often and buy a house while also providing a place to live for someone in need! Does it get any better than that?! There is NO buyer's premium for this auction. Bidding will be available right here on the Enlisted Auctions website as well as live and in person at 49 Hornet Rd in Fishersville. Bidding will be live streamed so everyone is on the same page. $5,000 deposit due the day of the auction for winning bidders. Remaining balance to be paid in full by October 16, 2024. Homes must be removed from the build site no later than January 3, 2025. Cottage Details: Click on the "Documents" tab to see a PDF of the 4 floor plans available. There will be 2 homes built per floor plan, with floor plan #4 having 3 homes. Overall size of each home is 14'x32' each home features 1 bed, 1 bath, kitchen and living room Homes will be constructed from September 28 - October 6. There is a massive amount of community support and donations that are making this awesome project a reality!
