Powered by a 327 high-output Corvette engine bored .040 over, paired with a 350 transmission, and topped with a Comp cam and a 750 Edelbrock carburetor, this truck delivers both performance and presence. The front axle and springs are original ’46, now upgraded with disc brakes. It also features power steering and power brakes for a smoother, safer ride. The rear is a narrowed 1998 Chevrolet 1-ton dually axle with 3.72 gears. The cab has been lifted 9" and moved 22" forward over the engine. The hood has been shortened and the fenders reworked to match the modified body lines. The original 1946 frame has been shortened and narrowed in the rear. The wrecker boom frame is fully hand-fabricated from a 30-ton Model A truck frame. Additional features include a GPS speedometer and a clean Virginia title.
