#2 • 1937 Studebaker Coupe
Part of Classic Vehicles and Motorcycles (timed auction by Enlisted Auctions)
High bid $2,200.00
Status: Sold
Originally a four-door sedan, this car has been transformed into a head-turning hot rod classic. The roof has been shortened and moved forward over the rear half of the back doors, then chopped 1.5" for a sleeker profile. Door hinges have been reversed to create true suicide doors, adding to its bold custom look. Built on a 1989 Camaro frame, it features drum brakes in the rear and disc brakes up front — all recently replaced. Under the hood is a freshly rebuilt 350 Chevrolet engine paired with a 350 automatic transmission. It’s topped with a 750 Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, and includes an MSD distributor, new water pump, and new timing chain. Dolphin gauges finish off the custom dash. The starter is not currently installed, but it is included with the vehicle. According to the seller, the body and frame are virtually rust-free. Comes with a clear Virginia title. VIN: 5556190
